BELFAST RIOT. LONDON, June 15

Sinn Feiner snipers on the roofs in Belfast fired on some trams conveyong loyalist workers to dockyards, and one was wounded. SCENE IN COMMONS. ON IRISH QUESTION. LONDON, June 14. In the Commons, Mr Devlin moved the adjournment on the ground of want of proper control of Crown forces in Belfast on Sunday. He accused them of cowardly crimes, including, the murder of two youths, named Duffy, also three other men who were dragged from their beds without Government attempting to bring the assassins to justice. Jack Jones repeatedly, interrupted the debate, shouting epithets at S‘ r Hamar Grcenwood.

The Speaker rebuked Jones saying that unless he restrained himself he must leave the House.

Sir Hamar Greenwood replying, said the conditions in Belfast were still unsatisfactory. Rioting and shooting continued. It was an unworthy presumption to say these brutal murders were committed by Crown Forces. Jones shouted—“ Three c heers for tlio chief assassin.”

'The Speaker again warned Jones, who when he repeated the statement was compelled to leave the House, crying “Goodnight, assassins, you are a gang of assassins.”

Mr Devlin also interrupted, and called down the Speaker’s rebuke Sir Hamar Greenwood continued There is a deliberate campaign by Sinn Fein gangs to destroy the success of the Northern Parliament. Within the last few hours, a considerable portion of Belfast waterworks has been destroyed.” Government wanted to band over the administration of Ireland to Irishmen. He concluded by appealing to Cortnnoners to remain united against this rebellion. Government would ttfke every step to defeat the conspiracy b.v Sinn Fein which aimed at the breaking up of the Empire. Mr Devlin’s motion was defeated by 192 to 64.
