DAZZLE WEDDING. ' PAD IS, April 12 Two of the best-known names in the world of luxury traders in Paris were yesterday united by the marriage of Si lie. Ann Cartier, granddaughter of M. Cartier, the Hue de la Paix jeweller, with M. Rene Uevillon, who represents the great Paris fur house in New York. In spite of the summer temperature some rich furs were worn at the ceremony, and the beautiful dresses were accompanied by a dazzling display of jewels. One guest was draped in sables forming a cape behind with broad stole ends falling nearly to the feet. Another in black satin crepe, with a short square cape at the back, wore a string of pearls ol remarkable ; size and beauty ; a third, also in black, bad a. pearl rope to the waist. Several women wore strings of diamonds as well as pearls, and great (lashing bar brooches of diamonds were set in. many a corsage.
