The U.S. Senate has unanimously passed Senator Borah’s disarmament amendment to the Naval Appropriation Bill requesting President Harding to call a conference between Britain, Japan, and the United States to arrange for a five-year building holiday. The amendment was not debated, as the administration’s opposition had been removed. It is expected the amendment will be passed by the Hoiise without any trouble.

AMERICAN VISITORS. (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) NEW YORK, May" 26 Doctor W. K. Gregory of the American Natural History Museum, and Henry E. Raven, explorer, have left for San Francisco and are sailing for Australia by the steamer Sonoma. Gregory plans to explore in connection” with archaelogical and ethnological matters and will make a field study in Queensland and New South Wales. Raven will spend a year in field studying Australian fauna. BONING MATCH. NEW YORK, May 26.
