A mooting of the Hokitika Borough Council will bo belli on Friday at 7.30 p.m. Mr G. Maunder of the Bank of New Zealand who has been relieving at Reefton has been transferred 1 to Takaka. His many friends will be glad to hear of his advancement. A marriage of much local interest was celebrated at St Mary’s Church this afternoon, the contracting ing Mr G. Berney, of the Post and Telegraph Department, now stationed at Oamaru, and Miss Oliv.e Breeze, the popular daughter of Mr and Mrs J. .T. Breeze, of Revel! Street.
