ROSS NEWS.
(Our own Correspondent.) The football match between Kumara and Boss teams took place on the Recreation ground on Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a win for Kumara by 3 points to nil—a try scored by Wright after a very pretty bit of passing by some five or six players. Mr Cutbush acted as referee and gave every satisfaction to both teams. Tlie Ifoss juniors also journeyed to Kokatnhi on Saturday, where they were defeated by the home team by 11 points to nil. BOSS BOROUGH COUNCIL. The ordinary meeting of the Boss Borough Council took place in the Coronation Hall on Thursday evening. Present His Worship the Mayor (S. P. Evans Esq.) Councillors W. 0. Jones, 11. McMullan, A. IV. Upjohn, C. Black, Jas Thompson, J. Minehan and D. Boberts.
