AMUSEMENTS.

POLLARD’S PICTURES. DOUBLE STAR PROGRAMME, MONDAY. On Monday next a big hill of fare will he presented to patrons at the Princess Theatre, headed by an all British production, “The Great Impostor,” starring Bernard Dudley and Marie Blanche. “The Great Impostor” is a refreshing change from the tawdry stories of dance-balls, the problem films, the sex situations we have been having, ft is truly British in sentiment and setting, being on parts quite Dickensian. It will make you feel glad that you’re a Brit-on—and it lacks nothing in the way rt acting or production; both are of a high standard. The second big feature is a First National comedy drama entitled, “Tn Search of a Sinner,” starring the popular t'onnie Talmadge. A bit naughty, hut lovely and lively story of a perfectly nice girl who’s been married to—oh! such a good man for three long, weary, i dreary years. He was so good; did many good things—for charity, for his fellow man, for the good of science, for purity, for honesty; lie was too good to live, so the angels took him away—that was tho best thing he ever did! And Georgians!, widow, twenty, pretty, full of pep, went out “to find the wickedest man in all the world and marry him! Listen, girls! This will, show your favourite sinner the kind of a man a really nice girl can love. Bring him to see it! The best and brightest play Connie ever had. Written by Anita Loos and John Emerson, famed for bright, zippy stories and titles—it just couldn’t help being a knock-out.
