Guiseppe Defilipo, an Italian truckman, was arrested at Soyonne, New Jersey, and formally charged with driving the wagon into Wall Street which caused the explosion. The police assert that several persons have identified him, while the same assertions are made in connection with a recent arrest at Scranton. The suspect was not charged specifically. A SUSPICIOUS FIRE. (Received This Day at 9.45 a.m.) NEAV YORK, May 19 A fire caused by a leaking oil tank, heavily damaged the new Shipping Board liner Banhandle State*. The vessel was beached. The fire was discovered an hour after the striking crew left the vessel. A Federal inquiry has been started.
