LONDON, May 19
Sergt Butler was fatally shot while returning from Newport barracks, and Corporal Hill was fatally shot returning to Cork hayracks, after bidding goodnight to a girl. A police patrol was ambushed at Letterkenny. Constable Carter was fatally shot and Sergt Maguire woundedu. LONDON, May 19. Scotland Yard officials state they believe Sinn Feiners planned successive outrages in London night aftei night, but that'prompt police action prevented them, as one principal'ringleader was arrested. 1 A BODY FOUND. (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, May 19. A body was found in a field near Crumlin and has been identified as that of Patrick Dunning, who was kidnapped from home three days ago.
