McCarthy, consulting engineer for tb o meat coy, states the damage to the Admiral Codrington is much less than expected. It is proposed to effect temporary repairs. The vessel’s stern is twisted from the 25ft mark to fifteen feet downward. A few plates strained and rivets are torn out.
