WELLINGTON, May 14 In the wind-screen fraud charges against Thomas, the accused was found guilty. He will he sentenced oil Monday. Morris was found guilty of the Trocadero theft, and was sentenced to four years’ reformative treatment. He must not attend races, net, or take intoxicants. Lewis Benjamin was convicted of indecent assault on a male. He received nine months’ hard labour. .Jolm James Monaghan, tor a similar offence, was given a sentence of two years’ hard labour. The Judge sail the case, though of gross nature, was but a moderate case of its class.
Hyland, a youth found guilty of theft from employers, was admitted to probation, but was barred from cards and liquor.
For forgery, Llewellyn Price got ail additional year, and Edward Stone 18 months.
