The Railway Department notify us that new regulations have-been made with reference to the mode of ordering trucks from the West Coast for Canterbury. In future the Railway Authorities on the Coast will arrange not only for trucks to load {or Otira, but also for trucks to load from Arthurs Pass to Addington. Orders for trucus from Arthurs Pass to Addington will not bo accepted at the Christchurch Office. If so desired, provided we have ample notice, we can arrange to have all stock unloaded at Otira and driven over the hill and retrucked at Arthur’s Pass for a nominal charge.
