AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. FRENCH TENNIS. LONDON, May 11. French newspapers suggest that Mademoiselle Lenglen should be a member of the Davis Cup team. The “Evening Standard” commenting, says though not of the physical strength of Tilden, Lenglen could play most Wimbledon players level, outside the first eight. France first plays India and then Japan, but few would back Lenglen against the tireless persistent Shimitzu.
