THE REPARATIONS

AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION GERMANY ACCEPTS UNCONDITIONALLY. (Received This Day at 9.45 a.m ) BERLIN, May 11. Herr Wirth has notified London, Paris

and Rome that Germany agrees unconditionally to all the Allied demands. Ebert solved the German Cabinet crisis by threatening to resign. Wirth, addressing the Reichstag, said Germany had no alternative but to accept in view of the victor’s decision. Already Germany’s economic interests have been greatly fettered. Germans must be prepared to make the greatest sacrifices to preserve the Fatherland from invasion. The terms imposed by

the victors are fraught with the most serious consequences to the world’s economics ns well as GermanyVbut the responsibility rested on the conquerors. It was only by earnest endeavours to carry out the burdens laid upon them that they could hope to impress the Entente with Germany’s sincerity. They might rest assured that the Allies will not permit the Poles to contravene the Versailles Treaty in respect to the Silesian settlement. LONDON, May 11. In the House of Commons, Hon. Lloyd George announced Germany’s complete acceptance of all the Allies conditions.
