THE REPARATIONS

AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CARLE ASSOCIATION.MAJORITY SOCIALISTS. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, Hay 9. Majority Socialist members of the Reichstag adopted' a resolution that there is no objection to accepting the Allies ultimatum, with a view to preventing the occupation of Ruhr, unless Bavaria undertakes to disband the civic guard by the 20th., but expressed a readiness to support every earnest attempt to fulfil the London financial demands. The resolution concludes “fulfilment of the ultimatum depends principally upon the readiness of the citizens to make sacrifices. Upon them falls the responsibility for the future.”
