Sheriff, welcomed Prince Hirihjto, who subsequently called on Queen Alexandra at Marlborough House and placed wreaths on the cenotaph and grave of the Unknown Soldier in the Abbey. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. SYDNEY, May 9. The wool sales which were to be resumed here to-day were again postponed, the buyers objecting to the present Customs regulations, but stating that if it could.be satisfactorily arranged by Thursday next sales would be resumed.
CONTROL OF WOOL. MELBOURNE, May 10. A proclamation has been issued controlling the export of wool under conditions recently fixed by the Fe ci<> Parliament. ________
