AMUSEMENTS.
OH* POLLARD’S PICTURES.
MONDAY NEXT,
A First National attraction “Even as Eve,” will be Pollard’s feature in Monday night’s display at the Princess Theatrt. The picture is founded on the story “Tho Shining Band,” by Robert W. Chalmers, and is one of his best well-known novels, and has been
read by thousands of his admirers all over the world. What is your idea of love and marriage? Do you believe in the “Even as Eve” philosophy of mating? You will find some startling new thoughts in this picture, featuring Grace Darling. “To choose the best possible father for her children is a woman’s right,” she calmly told him. “ft’s time you took charge of her,” said her listening father to the religious fanatic beside him. The preacher was the leader of “The Shining, Band,” a sect devoted to keeping men and women apart. On. Wednesday next Dorothy Green and Arthur Ashley will be featured in a World film, “The Praise Agent.”
