INDIAN SHRINE AFFRAY. ALLAHABAD, Feb. 28. A morions affray occurred at Nankann (tile site of a Sikh shrine in the Runjab). Many persons were killed and the corpses of the victims (apparently Sikhs) were being burned when the Deputy Commissioner of Sheikhpura arrived. He telegraphed to Lahore for troops, and arrangement- were made to isolate Nankann by running all trains through without stoppinef and to send 100 British and 100 Indian troops.
