Electricity Your Servant

11. C. Eorrand, of the firm of Daly Bros and Eerrand, and representing Messrs Brown Bros., will be exhibiting a host of electrical appliances at the Red Lion Hotel on M’ednesday and Thursday. Due of the cliiei lines shown will he the Robbins and Myers’ motors and intending power users should make a point of examining the sample motor on exhibit. These motors are made to stand the gruelling service and small amount of attention that is usually the lot of an electric motor. Points that should commend themselves are the extra large phosphor-bronze dust-proot hearings, absence of any sliding contacts, and the ability to take a 25% overload with only a 40 degrees temperature rise. Another interesting exhibit is the liiown Bros patent water-heater, which, inserted in some portion ot the hot water system, preferably the cylinder, comes into operation at night after load hours, and ensures a supply of boiling water first thing in the morning. Other lines shown the the Universal Four Heat Electric Cooker, which cooks a meal for three or four persons right on the dining table, electric irons, radiators, Bell transformers, automobile battery charging resistances, and samples of the latest high grade fittings which are used by Daly Bros and Ferrand in all their installation work. Mr Eerrand extends a hearty wnvitation to all interested to come and see and handle these appliances for themselves, and he will be pleased to advise and give quotations for light and power installations in Hokitika, or any part of the Coast, free of charge.
