POSTAL NOTICES.
ANZAC DAY. On the 25th inst. Anzac Day is to bo observed as a Sunday. On the eveninti; of Saturday 23rd inst. all receivers and posting boxes will be cleared. The mails usually despatched on Mondays are to be closed on Saturday night, 23rd inst. at 8 p.m. and the mails will be despatched }>or the usual train services. Delivery of town letters, registered as well as ordinary, will be made on Saturday evening for half an hour after the arrival of the overland mail. Sunday hours will he observed in the private box lobby. The Telegraph office hours will be the same as those for Sundays. Sunday rates will be charged for all telegrams. The attention of the public is drawn to the fact that double rates will be charged for ordinary telegrams.
