HOKITIKA SCHOOL COMMITTEE
| MONDAY, APRIL 18th | The Committee met at the Town Hall at 7 p.m. Present—Messrs W. H. Shannon (Chairman), Aitken, Preston, Feddersen, Stevenson, Richards, Bruce, Lloyd and Rev. Purchas. The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. ; From Teacher, South Spit, reporting average attendance as 15, and notifying some i^jquirejments.—Received ; to bo attended to. From Rector reporting the average attendance was 341, with roll number of 371; asking for some requirements.— Received • and action of Chairman in authorising satn e was approved. Hie annual report drawn up by the Chairman, was read and approved. Mr Aitken moved a hearty vote of thanks to the Cha imian for the services rendered during th 0 past year. Seoondjed bv Mr Bruce and carried. A small account was passed for payment. ' A vote of thanks to the “Guardian” ; was passed on the motion of the Chair- : man.-
