SATURDAY'S RESULTS. Diggers 8 beat Excelsiors 6. Kumara 13, beat Rimu 0. Kiwi 6 beat Ivokatahi 3. DIGGERS v. EXCELSIORS. The above match was played on Cass Square oil Saturday and resulted after a very even game, in a victory for the Diggers by 8 points to 6. Inglis and Muir scored for the winners and Carley converted Inglis’ try; D. Heenan and Maunder scored for the Excelsiors. Mr D, Dowell was referee. KIWIS V. KOKATAHI. 'Fhe above match took place at Kc’ atahi on Saturday afternoon and resulted in a win for Kiwis by 6 points (a penalty goal kicked by Hannari, and a try scored by Wilson), to 3 (a try scored by Wallace. Tho game was fast and interesting. Mr Cutbush acted as referee. KUMARA v. RIMU. Kumara sent its fifteen to Rimu to open the season and the visitors showed a substantial superiority; winning by 13 points, (three tries, two converted) to nil. AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.
