The golf season will open on the Alahinapua Links on Saturday next, the 16th inst. A mixed foursome is set down for competition, the following being paired:— Ford and Mrs Wilson v. Ellis and Mrs Grant.
Stuart and Mrs Langford v. Langford asd Miss Moore.
Alackay and Airs Staveley v. Pilkington and Mrs Park.
Grant and Mrs Buchanan v. Perham junr., and Mrs Fraser.
Anderson and Airs Chesney v Buchanan and Mrs Butler.
Cranston and Airs Williams v. McCaskill and Miss Lewis. Stevenson and Airs Baird v. Pratt and Airs McCnsklll. AYilliams and Airs Alackav v. Teichelmnnn and Airs Diodrichs. Hickson and Airs Galbraith v. Baird and Mrs Boyd. Galbraith and Afrs Hickson v. Perham and Afrs Macfarlnne. Handicaps -will he posted in the pavilion. Ladies please note a general tea day. Visitors will he welcome.
