SET, LING GER MA N Y WHE AT. SYDNEY. April 0 The Labour Conference has decided to ask the Government to thoroughly inquire into the phases of the wheat industry. The Minister of Agriculture (Mr Dunn) was present. He stated that the price at which wheat was being sold to Germany was such that it would not he landed in Germany under 12 '0 per bushel. Tn justifying the sale, he said that if it was right to export foodstuffs to Germany, it was only rigid that the importation of German goods should he allowed into Australia. He trusted that, the Federal Government would now remove the embargo from (>eittian imports.
