Numbers of 3teel and other works are closing or are shortening hands. THE! TRANSPORTERS. Received this day at 2.8(5 p.m.,) LONDON, April L The coal situation is threatening. Tl£e latest evidence! of clanger is that the executive of the Transport Workers Federation met tonight to adopt the following resolution: “If the Government and coal owners refrain from re-opening negotiations with the miners, the federation must ask members to cease work.”
