Time 1.55. A.J.C. AUTUMN MEETING. FOURTH DAY’S RESULTS. SYDNEY, April 3. For the fourth day of the A.J.C. autumn meeting twenty-six thousand braved tlie elements. It had rained almost incessantly since T' riday night, consequently the going was heavy and favoured the lightweights. The race of the day, the A.J.C. Plate, attracted only four starters. Eu rythmic was scratched owing to a strained tendon. Salistros and David played a waiting o-atne. Foxglido and Kenaquahair sharing the pacemaking. The latter finished in an exhausted state. To the surprise of the majority the committee exercised its discretion and reduced tlie added money. Despite the had weather conditions, the making of a L' s! race was impossible. The committee s action is particularly extraordinary in view of them not taking any such action in 1920, when Poitrel won in over 7 minutes.
