Kirkwood hit fine tee shots down the fairway middle, and well up with the seconds, hut- lacked conlidenee in putting, missing at ’east a dozen under eight feet. Hutchison the Chicago professional, won the golf championship at h’nehurst, with a score of 291. Kirkwood tied with French and Hagen for ninth place with a score of 302. Kirkwood completed the last eighteen holes hi 74. He will share in the prizes.
