AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION, POLICE CASUALTIES. LONDON, March 31. . The latest report is that there were 10 police killed at Roscarberry. A tragic story is told of the defenders light amid flames until driven from the last refuge, a small upper room, where they leaped to the ground amid barbed # wire defences. They became a target for the attackers, who had concentrated their fire. Only three escaped. They reached Clonakilty. It is believed most of the casualties were due to the explosion of the stores of bombs and ammunition in the police station.
