ALOB RAIDS RESTAURANT. MONTREAL, January 23. ' \ mob of unemployed rushed the City Hall here last night. Persuaded to depart on being confronted by a p a - oon of police, they invaded a restaurant demanding food. The manager, a returned soldier, recognising that most <,f the crowd were ex-soldiers offered them toast .and c offee. They demanded meat and got it, cheering the managei as they left. The parade started again to-day, visiting soldiers’ organisations and unemployment headquarters to obtain recruits.
