DEAD ON THE ICE. LONDON, March 30. Bolsheviks and Finnish Governments are negotiating for the removal of a great number of dead and dying from the ice around Kronstadt. The Finns consider that when the ice breaks up the bodies will be washed on to the Finnish shore constituting a grave danger. The Reds claim that the refugees from Kronstadt should remov e them. Meanwhile the ice is rapidly thawing * CONCENTRATION OF TROOPS. “ THE TIMES ” SERVICE. LONDON, March 30. A Helsingfors correspondent states a message from Moscow affirms that a Council of War decided on the concentration of troops on the frontiers of Poland, Rumania and the Caucasus. Brinnd indignantly denies Karl’s allegation that France lias consented to this crazy venture, adding that “If we tolerated the Hapsburgs to return we could hardly object to the Holienzollerns’ return. The Jugo-Slavian Roumanian and Czcclui-Slavian ambassadors visited Hortv demanding Karl’s instant removal and complete liquidation of the Kingship question declaring non-com-pliance would be regarded as a> caitcas belli. The ambassadors deemed Horty’s explanation satisfactory.
BUTTER AND CHEESE

The Food Ministry has reduced the selling price of its stocks of butter for a. fortnight from to-morrtow. New Zealand first and second grades 262/-; Australian third grade 212/-. It is expected that plenty of good butter will be retailed at twenty-seven to thirty pence per lb. White cheese is easier, on the large arrivals. New Zealand, 142/-; Australian 136/- to MO/-. Coloured is scarce, and unchanged. HOME) LABOUR MATTERS. LONDON, March 31. The Miners Executive has considered the reports from the Raihvaymen and Transporters Unions, and have decided to return to their districts to place the position respecting Triple Alliance before their Lodges to-morrow. Mr Cramp states the raihvaymen are regarding the position as a prelude to a general attempt to reduce wages and have decided to call a delegate mooting on Wednesday.
The Transporters Union delegates will meet on Tuesday.
