GISBORNE, March 24 A native woman, Aorahe, aged 70, living alone at Ruatoki, was burned to death on Tuesday night. -MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE. PALMERSTON NORTH, March 24. James Muir, a taxi driver was arrested to-day on a charge of having committed manslaughter, by causing the death of Maurice Hickey oil February otli. He was remanded till March 31st.
