POLLARD’S PICTURES. TO-NIGHT I TO-NIGHT I! Tonight at the Princess Theatre Pollards are presenting a big AYorld Film drama “Aliss Crusoe” starring the beautiful Virginia Hammond in the leading role. The astounding adventures on a lonely island of a romanticgirl longing for thrills, and her maiden aunt, whose male attire was no indication of the quality of her courage. Auntie thought she should have been a man, so she wore the clothes of the mere males she despised, and they spent their vacation on the lonely island as “Mr and Mrs John Silver.” Although it wasn’t a “Treasure Island,” Dorothy found a perfectly good husband there. Virginia Hammond is the very latest “World” Star, and she is “some” girl. AY ho wouldn’t like to spend a, vacation on a lonely island with “Miss Crusoe” when she’s as nice as Virginia! On Thursday an all-British Hepworth Production, entitled “Dick Carson AVins Through” will he Pollards’ special attraction. A thrilling mystery and a charming romance, interwoven in a plot that will keep you transfixed with expectation and interest.
