He has gone to the country for a few days prior to an extended holiday in U ■ Riviera. He retains his seat in Parliament, hoping his absence will be only temporary. On Monday there is a meeting of the Unionist Commoners. They are expected unanimously to elect Mr Chamberla in as their new leader, and to decide the election of a Leader for the whole party
