Tin; Greymouth Howling Club sent Urn;,, rinks to Westport and Reefton on Saturday last to play for the Ballingi'ir liin klt s, which Westport won from the Greymouth Club, last month, at the time of the West Coast tournament. After a very keen contest Greymouth won by four points. The sc ires being: —Jones (Grey) 26 v. Strothers (Westport) 15; Blair (Grey) 21 v. Blaxall (Westport) 16, Blackwood (Grey 16, v. Peters (Westport) 28, Totals Grey 63, Westport 59. The rink Scott, Brebner, Baxter T., and Jones (skip) acre the winners of the Buckles. On the return journey two ‘earns played Reef ton. The green was been uul true. Messrs Scott, Brebner, Baxter and Jones (skip) 18, lost to Cosfigan, Hughes, Blackmor e and Worth skip), 29, and Blackwood, Christie, AlIridge and Buck (skip) 26, won from Mori, Stallard, Cohen and Buchanan skip) 19. The game was very keenly •untested right through until the last jowl was played which left Reefton Hie timers of the match and th e “Buckles” >v 4 points. At one stage of the game leefton had a lead of 25 points.
