POLLARD’S PICTURES AND ORCHESTRA, MONDAY.
On Monday next Pollards are screening one of Wilkie Collin’s famous stories, “She Loves and Lies,” featuring the popular screen actress, Norma Talmadge, who play's a double part of Marie Callender, known on the stage as Marie Max, and June Dayne, a Greenwich village girl. Norma Talmadge, as a matron of fifty, will startle and surprise you, but as a flighty village maiden of twenty she will make you gasp —and in “She Loves and Lies” she’s both. Versatility, thy name is Norma. Anyway, Mr Man, if you married a woman of fifty and then found out she was only twenty, would you be disappointed, what? It was a case of
“the love that lies in woman’s eyes—find lies—and lies—and lies.”
A special feature in Monday’s display will he the music supplied by Pollard’s orchestra, who in the future will play tin 1 incidental music with the pictures every Monday nnd Thursday.
