SOUTHERN DIVISION
The annual meeting of the Southern Football Division was held in Mclntosh’s Club Rooms on Wednesday March oth. The following delegates were present: Diggers—-A. Dowell, R. Moore. Kiwis— D. Dowell, T. Gillooly. Excelsiors- J. J. Breeze, AV. Chetwynd. Kumara—A. Seebeck and K. \Y. Hcenan (Sec.) Ross —A. Tainui, F. McGregor. Rimn—V. Comport, I. Willoughby. Kokatahi—N. Karnbach. Mr A. Lawn was voted to the chair. The meeting was called for the express purpose of transforming the Southern Division into a sub-Union for Season. 1921. The Chairman explained very fully all matter relating to the forming of a sub-union. After the whole matter had been discussed. ATr R. Moore moved that the Hokitika District from Kumara to the Waiho Gorg 0 he controlled by a subUnion having its headquarters at Hokitika, tliis body to control Rugby Football in this district for season 1921. Seconded by Air J. J. Breeze and carried. The following senior clubs have been nominated for this season.—Diggers. Excelsiors, Kiwis, Pirates (Rimn), Ross, Kumara. Kokatahi. The Sub-Union will he governed by the same rules as adopted by the West Coast Rugby Union. The Rival Club of Westport will open tiie season here on Faster Saturday when they will meet a representative team. It was resolved that the sub-Union desire to place on record its heartfelt appreciation to Mr U. Hills and Air D. Deo for the valued service in fostering football and helping Rugby to attain its present standard in this district. The next meeting of the sub-Union will he held in beginning of Faster week. There being no further business the meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
