It was resolved to make application m a case under review. From West Const Industrial Ambulance Association re proposal to form fund to purchase a motor ambulance for use of Westland Hospital and asking assistance of the Board in arranging to secure funds and inviting Board to appoint representatives to assist in the movement. — Received. From Health Department. Wellington agreeing to amended plans for i laundry, subject to some alterations enumerated. Received. A number of letters dealing with maintenance accounts were received and dealt with. From Sister Baker, Waiho, suggesting charge for services.- Received and approved. From same stating stating she had moved into the cottage.—Received. From Benevolent Committe, reporting for the month. Received and approved. From Master. Kumarn Home, report for period.—Received. From House Committee reporting having visited Westland Hospital and found matters satisfactory: reporting thirty loads of gravel and sand, and other articles were required. Received and adopted. From Finance Committee recommending payment of accounts amounting to £1.550 11s 2d.—Received and adopted. From Treasurer reporting receipts £1.406 Os Id.—Received. TENDER FOR LAUNDRY. Only one tender for the erection ol the laundry at Westland Hospital was received, from .T. Drake at £1056 10s 6d. The tender was accepted. Mr Blank was appointed to arrange with Mr D.
