The monthly meeting of the Westland Chamber of Commerce takes place tonight at 7.30 o’clock.
The quarterly meeting of the Westland Licensing Bench takes place tomorrow at noon.

A meeting of the Committee of the Westland Racing Club will lie held at 8.30 o’clock to-morrow night for the transaction of general business, including the nomination of representatives to the district committee mid the N.Z. Racing Conference on behalf of the country racing clubs of, the Greymouth Metropol ifa n district.
Delegates representing the various football clubs in the district will meet at Mclntosh’s Club Rooms on Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock sharp, to arrange for the formation of a Westland sub-union. As the rooms will lie required for another purpose an hour later, a prompt attendance is requested.

The death is reported at Lismore, X.S.W. of Mr Robert James Bradshaw. Deceased was well-known in Greymouth having lived there for some years prior „to going to Australia. His mother resides in Auckland, while li is brother, Mr M. Bradshaw, is in the service of the N.Z. Rai'lwavs, Grevmouth.
Last week 7320 tons 3 ewt of coal was exported from Greymouth. The outputs from the various mines towards this total were as follows:—Liverpool 3201 tons 10 ewt. ; Rlnekb.qll 1390 tons 18 ewt. Paparoa 259 tons 13 ewt. Reefton 1885 tons 11 ewt,; Brunner 302 tons 12 ewt.; Dobson 00 tons 14 ewt. Bierworth 153 tons 5 ewt.
