NOTICES OF MOTION

1. The Chainran to move :—“Tha the accounts for the month of Fobru ary, 1921, as revised and rocomniende for payment hy the Finance Committee amounting to £ , he passed fm

payment.” 2. The Chairman to move:—“Tint Overseer Alillner compile a list, ( f works- required in the Northern, Central and Southern Ridings for application for Government grants, for the year 1921-2, and such list he submit--ed for the consideration of the Council at next meeting."

3. The Chairman to move: —“That the annual statement ho prepared b,v the Treasurer as early as possible in respect to thc apportionment of the gross estimated income for the financial year commencing on the Ist prox, and that the proposed allocation <.f surplus revenue over the several ridings, as required hy section 131 of the Counties Act, 1920, he submitted to the Council for adoption.” 4. Air Jeffries to move:—“Thai application be made to the Public Works Department for a substantial grant of (say) £I,OOO for tile purpose of enabling the Council to carry out the widening of AVaitaha settlement road.”

A. The Chairman to move:—“That the town members of the Council he a special committee to deal with tenders for works in the County, closing on the loth inst.
