Mr McKeon who is alleged to be responsible for the murder of McGrath cabled on January Bth. and who also was responsible for. ambushes lesulting in the death of twenty eight cadets was captured at Mullingar under dramatic circumstances. The police and military held up a train and arrested McKeon in a. carriage. While proceeding handcuffed to the barracks McKeon escaped. The police pursued him, firing and McKeon fell wounded. He was taken to the hospital his condition being precarious.
