FRIDAY FEBRUARY 20th. (Before C. It. Orr-AValker, Esq., S.M.) LICENSING ACT. The Police charged two offenders with
being on licensed premises (Keller’s Hotel) during prohibited hours Sunday morning, February 13th. Defendants did not appear. Convicted and fined •10/- and costs 7 - each. Same v. an offender, a similar charge (.Marquis of Lome Hotel). No appearance. Convicted and lined £2 and costs ”/-• STAMP DUTY. Police v.. E. Pfahlert, a charge of failing to stamp a receipt for £5. Fined 5/- and costs 22/-. Same v. C. Hondo (Mr Park). A similar charge. Fined V- and costs 14/10. Same v. E. Cron, a similar charge. Fined 5 - and costs 14/6. Same v. J. Ritchie, a similar charge Fined 5/- and costs 7/-. DEBT CASE. Stephens Bros, and John. Dempsey claim £1 10s. Judgment for phuntiff with costs 10}-.
