Theophilus Jiii -Motlie Unite, who bat pleaded guilty at Oamnru to fom charges of theft, came up for sentence The money involved, which was taker from patriotic funds, totalled £OBO Prisoner had paid back £2OO. A sentence of three years’ imprisonment was imposed. .DUNEDIN WATERS!DEES IDLE. DUNEDIN, February 21. The position on the Dunedin waterfront is unchanged. The Sealda has •completed her discharge. About 20 men are now employed loading the vessel with sand ballast. The work will be completed to-day and the port thereafter will be idle. About 300 wateraiders are now idle. The men appear to be anxious, waiting news from Wellington.
