Armed men in Dublin shot dead two 11.1. C. detectives. Another was dangerously wounded. Armed disguised men held up a bank clerk in a street in Cork and stole £1,750.

• MORE SHOOTING.. (Received this day, at 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, February 24. A policeman, patrolling the main street at Bandon was shot dead, while two soldiers and petty officers nearly were seized by armed men. After giving a letter to the petty officer addressed to the Commanding Officer of Essex Regt., they released him and tho other soldiers were taken a short distance and shot dead.
