AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE. LONDON, Feb. 23. Several householders in Cork arid Middleton have issued writs against the military authorities in conliecton wth the destruction of property, in making reprisals. TWO MEN SHOT. LONDON, Feb. 23. Armed men in Dublin shot dead two 11.1. C. detectives. Another was dangerously wounded. Armed disguised men held up a bank clerk in a street in Cork and stole £1,750.
• MORE SHOOTING.. (Received this day, at 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, February 24. A policeman, patrolling the main street at Bandon was shot dead, while two soldiers and petty officers nearly were seized by armed men. After giving a letter to the petty officer addressed to the Commanding Officer of Essex Regt., they released him and tho other soldiers were taken a short distance and shot dead.
