AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. SINN FEIN IN LONDON. LONDON. February 23. The London Police early this morning searched the Fleet Street Office of the “Irish Independent” paper, arising out of the seizure of documents in their recent London raids. The police have deported to Ireland Air Sean McGrath, the Secretary of the Irish Self-Determination League. ■ Wlhen the police raided the headquarters of the Irish Self-Determina-tion League and arrested the general secretary, who was recently deported from Ireland, the arrest caused consternation among the London S'D" Feiners, many of whom are now on the run. In consequence of the capture of Sinn Fein documents found in Dublin raids, disclosing a scheme for wholesale destruction of property in England and Scotland, the police generally have received instructions for stringent precautions for protection of life and property. The police will be armed with automatic revolvers. Owners of warehouses and other properties have been warned to prepare for surprise attacks.

CONFLICTS IN IRELAND. LONDON, February 23. The uniformed bodies of three privates were found in a field at Wodford (Galway); also a note inscribed, “Spies tried by court-martial.” There tvere several ambushes in Ireland' yesterday, in which two police were killed and six wounded.
