, SHOOTINGS IN CORK. > LONDON, February 20. A party of Hampshire Regiment surprised some armed civilians in a hous< at Middleton (Cork). The civilians broke up into parties. Some took positions in the garden. Others fired back from the house, A fight followed lasting two hours. Thirteen of the civilians were killed and eight of them were taken prisoner including three wounded men. Only one soldier was wounded.

MORE SHOOTINGS. ('Received This Huy nt 8.30 n.m.) LONDON, Fob. 21. Armed men attacked ten soldiers at Kilkenny. Two rebels were killed. An unarmed civilian was severely wounded.
