February two £SO Clay Pigeon shoots were held under the auspices of the Stratford Gun Club. Mr F. Whittle, using C.A.C. cartridges, broke the highest possible number of birds in both first and second shots 32 in all. He continued in tho Sweep which followed, scoring 40 consecutive breaks. Mr A. Dobson also using C.A.C. broke 31 out of 3*2. All the winners in the first match shot fwith C.A.C., and all except one in the second match used C.A.C. ammunition. Splendid shooting was recorded throughout the day and the way the pigeons were Simla shed up evidenced the wonderful accuracy and effectiveness of these cartridges.
