It is esti,malted that 80 thousand people at Prague and thirty thousand at Pilson recently seceded from Roman Catholic Church. The movement is considered political rather than religious. After conferring with the Baden Cabinet at Karlsruhe, Von Simons addressed the Diet and declared no German j statesman would dare call oil the people to perform a forty two years corvee under Entente conditions. Germany must therefore refuse to sign such an undertaking. Two important, factors in the impending clearing up would be whether Germany was t<> retain Upper Silesia and what her relations were with United States.
