The Wool Realisation Association is now generally called “Bawra.” A iuH meeting of Colonial Wool Merchants’ Association unanimously adopted the sub-committees proposals cabled on the 11th., except that late arrivals of AyrSurrey, City of Edinburgh aggre'gation 7085 bales, were not included. A strong feel existed that it would be unfair to sell Bawra wool in England only, and confine Australian sales to free wool. It was also contended that in any scheme to regulate the proportion offering of Bawra and free wools in future, London sales account /must be taken of sales of Bawra wool at Liverpool, Hill, Antwerp and eslewhere.

The Chicago ‘-Tribune’s’; Santiago correspondent states it is reported in official circles that the Chilian Government is considering the making of » grant of a large strip of land in Souththern Chili,' on which Krupps are to erect a munitions plant.
