Senator Borah lias offered an amendment to Naval Appropriation Bill providing for calling a disarmament conference of representatives of Britain, United States and Japan. A message from St Augustine, Florida states T. W. Lamont, United States financial adviser at the Peace Conference had informed Air Harding that Mr Wilson made no commitments during the Conference, either direct and remote regarding the cancellation of Allied debts.
