SWIMMING.
AUSTIiALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. SYDNEY, Feb. 13. The Australian swimming championships resulted:— 1320 yards.—Beanpaire 1, Danger 2, Christie 3. The race resolved itself into a contest between Beaupaire and hanger, who raced nock and neck to 1200 yards. The Victorian then drew away, and won by 18 yards. Time I'm in 43 4-ssecs. Hundred Yards Backstroke.—Koaloha 1, Beck (N.S.W.) 2, Collins (Queensland) 3. The Hawaiian won easily by two yards. Time lmin 14 4-ssees. Stedman (Victoria) won the 75 yards open handicap in 39 2-ssocs —an Australian record.
