The proposed visit of the State Orchestra to New Zealand has been abandoned owing to the disorganisation of shipping. AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL CRISIS MELBOURNE, Feb. 11. An All Australian Unions Conference has been summoned by the Trades Hall Disputes Committee, in connection with the shipping strike, and it will probably meet on the 17th. All hopes of intervention bv the Federal Government have been now aban- ! cloned. I The outlook is now a very serious one. It has been ascertained that the Trade ynion circles are discussing the possibility of a direct extension of the dispute, involving the coal minors. 1
